Rules
Event
Singles mixed, ladies receive 8 pins handicap per game. The tournament is open to all players carrying a current international license issued by their respective national federation (WTBA).
Qualification Round
6 games, changing lanes after each game. There will be a maximum of 4 players on a pair of lanes.
Re-entry
Re-entries are allowed. In case of a re-entry the highest qualification counts. The other scores will not count for qualification.
Composing Top 40
8 players will qualify directly for the final step 2, which is players positioned 1-8 in the qualification standing
32 players will qualify for the final step 1, which is players positioned 9-36 in the qualification standing and players positioned 1-4 in the desperado standing.
Final step 1
32 players will play 6 games starting from scratch
Players positioned 1-12 is qualified for the final step 2
Players positioned 13-32 will be ranked 21-40 according to their position in the final step 1
Final step 2
20 players will play 5 games starting from scratch
Players positioned 1-10 is qualified for the final step 3
Players positioned 11-20 will be ranked 11-20 according to their position in the final step 2
Final step 3
10 players will play 5 games with pin fall from step 2 carried over
Players positioned 1-4 is qualified for the final step 4, seeded 1-4
Players positioned 5-10 will be ranked 5-10 according to their position in the final step 3
Final step 4
There will be 3 stepladder matches
References to positions is to positions after the final step 3
Stepladder match 1
The player positioned 4 and the player positioned 3 will play a one game match
The looser of the match will be ranked 4 in the final tournament standing
Stepladder match 2
The winner of the previous step and the player positioned 2 will play a one game match
The looser of the match will be ranked 3 in the final tournament standing
Stepladder match 3
The winner of the previous step and the player positioned 1 will play a one game match
The looser of the match will be ranked 2 in the final tournament standing
The winner of the match will be ranked 1 in the final tournament standing
Ties
Qualification and the final steps 1-3
In case of a tie the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest second last game, then the player with the highest third last game etc.
Desperado
In case of tie in the desperado squad, the highest positioned player will be the player with the highest position after the qualification.
Final Step 4
In case of a tie in any game in any match in the final step 4, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken.
Ranking Points EBT 2011
In this tournament the top 50 men and top 50 women will be awarded ranking points for the European Bowling Tour 2011.

Desperado Squad
All bowlers not already qualified for the final but bowled at least one squad have a chance to qualify for the final in the Desperado Squad. This is a one game event, top 4 high games qualify for the finals.
Disputes
The tournaments director's decision will be final in all cases not covered by the present rules.
